PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT IN EPA DECISIONS

A National Dialogue convened by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
and hosted by Information Renaissance
with additional support from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation


Nadine L. Scott

Nadine is a public interest attorney and advocate on behalf of Resource Conservation Districts [RCDs] in California. She works with various partners at the local, state and federal level as well as with tribes. She is currently Vice-President and Policy Chair for the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts [CARCD]. RCDs are local units of government formed under the California Public Resources Code to deliver voluntary technical, planning and outreach services. Such services are relative to natural resources and clients include private landowners and landusers, including agriculture and the ag/urban interface.

Nadine also serves as a committee member at the National level on the National Association of Conservation District's [NACD] Urban, Community & Coastal Committee.

She also is the Chairperson for the City of Oceanside Integrated Waste Commission, which deals with issues relative to conservation, hazardous waste, recycling and solid waste.
