Emily Green

Emily Green is director of the Sierra Club's Great Lakes Program and Senior Regional Representative for the Midwest region of the Sierra Club. She has worked for the Sierra Club for over 5 years. Previously, she worked as an environmental consultant for both the Cadmus Group and ICF Incorporated, and as an environmental educator for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. The Sierra Club is the nation's oldest and largest grassroots conservation group with over 700,000 members nationwide. The Great Lakes Program works to turn back specific environmental threats to the region. Its three primary goals are the cleanup of the toxic legacy in the Great Lakes, the prevention of toxic air pollution, and the protection of critical lands in the basin.
