In some gatherings I've attended recently some have argued that we already have full disclosure at the federal level, so why is this even included as a "choice?" At the forum at the Carter Library, one man suggested that it would be more useful to have a choice three that had us entertain the option of "third parties".

Finally, I'd like to say that some suggest that simply reading 3 pt. type listings of disclosures doesn't mean much of anything.

What's behind these contributions? Is there evidence of quid pro quo?
