Nancy,

Unfortunately, from what I see, Bush and others like him in the House and Senate would STOP Campaign Finance Reform at "paycheck protection," without touching where THEY get their money from (big oil and gas, tobacco, pharmaceutical companies, banks and credit card companies, the NRA, etc.) Everytime Bush addressed the issue of CFR during the campaign year, (only when FORCED to, at the debates, for example) the only words he would mouth, over and over, were "paycheck protection," and "union contributions." This doesn't exactly demonstrate any willingness on his part to do anything MORE than pay lip service to the whole VERY serious and urgent issue of CFR. That AND create an unlevel playing field by unfairly targeting a major traditional source of Democrats campaign funding without so much as TOUCHING where Republicans get theirs!
