I may not know a whole lot about the issues surrounding campaign finance reform, but I do know that something needs to be done about the way things are currently run. People who do not have wealthy connections have little chance to make it in politics. People who are perfect for the posittion may not be able to pursue their interest in political office because they do not have the funds to create their own political campaign, or they may not have the multimillion dollar campaign donations that their opponent has. We need to do something to bridge the gap of the wealthy and those that are not wealthy in order to give everyone who is qualified for office a fair chance to succeed, regardless of how many wealthy contributors they can snatch up.
