Hello, Jim,

I agree to some extent that the Fed could have a lot less to do with our daily lives and the States could better handle the immediate items you listed. The main advantage I see to Al's suggestion that the lawmakers might be better representatives if they stay closer to home fits here too. The accountability factor rizes considerably when you are closer to the people whom you represent.
