I've always wondered about the First Amendment protections
accorded political ads. If the government can regulate tobacco
ads for "the public health" (especially for young people), why
can't the government regulate political ads for "the public
health"? Seeing attack ads, night after night, ad nauseum, right
before an election certainly affects MY health.
