More and more often, my friends and I express our distrust of the political system due to the excesses over the past few years. As an example, The Buddhist Temple fiasco, the China connection, the "selling" of the Lincoln bedroom and lately the pardons scandal. Obviously, the corporate and big money interests have always been present due to large contributions to whatever polical party is in power As it has now been brought to the attention of those of us who were apparently asleep at the switch perhaps some legislators in Washington, other than Senators McCain and Feingold, will be willing to start a process of reform.
