If you critique media coverage as a reflection of public opinion/involvement, please be sure to include "alternative" publications, e.g., weekly free newspapers, as well as mainstream press as the mainstream is often owned/controlled by business interests cojoined with local politicians who do not include environmental protection in their mission statements.
