  • X-topic: Evaluation

As we discuss evaluation today, I heartily encourage everyone to participate in the evaluation of this dialogue by filling out the evaluation survey. It can be found at:

http://www.info-ren.org/network-democracy/epa-pip/join/epasurvey.shtml

After two weeks of participating in this forum, you are all now the experts, and I ask you to share your expertise on what worked, what didn't and how such dialogues can be improved. Regardless of how much you've participated and whether you've posted messages or not, we'd like to hear from you.

The survey results will be part of an evaluation report on this dialogue to be published by Resources for the Future, an independent non-profit research organization ( http://www.rff.org ). The evaluation is being funded by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation as a way to better understand on-line dialogues. The evaluation report will be widely available in electronic and hard copy formats, and we will send you a notice when it is available.

The evaluation is a work in progress, and I encourage you to share your thoughts on how you think this dialogue should be evaluated. How would you define success? Please contribute your ideas as one of today's threads or send me a private email.

Thanks in advance for filling out the survey.

Regards,
Tom Beierle
