The list of the information that should be included in the initial permit notice was generated the hard way. Citizens kept a list of roadblocks and difficulties that were actually encountered while the public was participating in the permitting process. Each missing piece of information requested in this list caused the process to fail the public in past permit hearings.

Please remember that the public us usually under a 30 day deadline and it is impossible for the public to have access to the needed information, even if they know what information they need, but do not know where the information is or what the next step is.

This list is really a "been there, done that".
