  • X-topic: Information

I am old enough to remember very vividly the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August of 1945.....and I have been doing some reading on the history and eternal ramifications of that event. I would like to know --- on the subject of "getting out information" --- 1)if the EPA has scientific information that they can distribute on the effects of radiation on the environment and on human beings; 2)any information about what the US (and Russia, because Putin wants to make money off of storing nuclear waste)plans to do about nuclear waste; 3)I want to know if the US is one of the countries that will help with the five-year project to bury the offending generator at Chernobyl --- to prevent further internatinal damage; 4) I want to know all about the why and the outcome of the Three Mile Island accident; 5)and finally, I want to know: if we are the most powerful nation on the planet why can we not be an ethical example to the others by dealing with the Pandora's box we opened with the discovery of atomic energy as the scientists suggested that we should: only peaceful uses and no atomic holocaust, not even potential preparation for it?
