  • X-topic: Assistance

Welcome to the fourth day of the National Dialgoue on
Public Involvement in EPA Decisions.

Today's topic deals with Assistance - how EPA can help to
promote public involvement in Agency activities. We have
already encountered one of the issues relating to this
topic - how to level the playing field among EPA stakeholders.

Specific topics on which today's conversation will focus include:
  * Needed technical assistance
  * Needed financial assistance
  * How people can acquire information on technical issues
  * Involving people without access to computers

We have seen a growing volume of participation in the first
three days of the Dialogue. We hope to see this trend
continue. Please let your friends and colleagues know
about the Dialogue and this opportunity to talk with so
many people at EPA. Thanks again for all your hard work,
dedication and good humor. And thanks to all for your
participation!
