Another aspect of the "real environment" for many communities, and not just urban communities are: drug use, teen-age pregnancy, drug use, guns and violence, drug use, excessive rates of dropping out of schools, drug use, domestic abuse, drug use...
It may not take a rocket scientist to see that there are other more pressing issues with which the public deals on a daily basis.
