Having been involved with our Superfund site in Acton, MA for over 20 years,our focus was obvious-what could we do about remediating our site. After 10 years of reacting to info from the PRP & EPA, we obtained a TAG from EPA and finally became a creditable voice with our consultant. We asked for a place at the discussion table, obtained it, and have been directly involved since 1990 at all discussions.
In the case here, someone seems to want general info about Superfund activities and their focus seems blurred, so obtaining info may be more difficult. I agree it takes time to get what you want, but this is part of the process. Perhaps some case histories of what has happened at specific Superfund projects with the public would help others learn by example.
