Welcome to the concluding days of the Dialogue

Welcome to the concluding two days of the California Education Dialogue!

For eight days we have worked with panelists from across the state to explore in some depth a wide range of issues in the Draft Master Plan.  We would like to thank these panelists, our moderators John Ford and John Helie, staff of the Joint Committee and all participants for the work they have put in during this period.

Now it's time to begin to wrap up our discussion and think a little about where we go from here. Today and tomorrow we will work to integrate the material covered during the previous discussions and take a look at the Plan as a whole.  We will begin today with some broad questions, which will be announced in a message with the subject line "Question 1: The Master Plan."

Thanks again for your enthusiastic and thoughtful participation to date.  With your help we can pull together some general conclusions and help chart the course for the future of education in California.
