This rhetoric is dangerous and gives me the willies...
The master plan addresses this problem at the expense of courses and programs that are needed by the vast majority of students for preparation for rewarding careers right out of high school. informing parents of the issues is necessary and a good idea, but it does not warrant branding those who chose to go directly to work from high school as underachievers and failures.
There are better ways that serve all the students. Let's work on them.
