A warning about technology in education. If used
inappropriately, technology can become a "black hole,"
draining resources and time. More important, students,
drawn by the glamour of creating digital movies and fancy
graphics, will ignore their studies in core academics. Read
the book, "High Tech Heretic," by Clifford Stoll and "Lost in
Action" (Sewall, American Educator, Summer 2000).
