introduction

I am interested in participating in this dialogue because I have been educated within the Ca. K-University system, now work as a program specialist in a Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA).  I am concerned about what I believe is the unevenness of both quality and funding between schools & districts, as well as the deterioration of our student outcome.  Since I was in the K-12 system, we have reduced vocational/technical education, eliminated a promising elementary + curriculum of vocational awareness and preparation, thus ceasing to serve a significant student population. I look forward to these discussions.
