My experience in this area:

Having been director of a rural library for 12 years, I am well aware of the needs of our students and patrons for up to date information. As most rurla libraries, we at Shaw suffer from a lack of funds which would enable us to add as many computers, Internet connections etc as we, and our patrons, would like to see at the library

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn from other individuals ways and means to strech our finances. Ideas on technology and how it is being used elseshere is always helpful.
