My experience in this area:

I have been working in the area of Educational Telecommunications for the past 5 years, and was involved in institutional networking and the Internet for the 10 years prior to that. I have encountered issues, both technical and admistrative, in the Educational area where I think my experience can provide some direction for possible treatments or strategies.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to gain a better understanding of the needs and problems of districts and support organizations other tham my own. I alos hope to gain an update on what on earth os going on.

Additional comments:

Bureaucrats should on no account be exclusively allowed to formuate the policies they admister. This most frequently leads to policies, practices or regulations which makes the admistrator's tasks easier, with little thought given to the accomplishment of the original mission.
