My experience in this area:

Academic librarian for 32 years; past President of the Pennslyvania Library Association; elected County Commissioner in a rural county of the Commonwealth;

What I hope to learn:

My objective in joining the project is to learn of initiatives and applications which will benefit the information needs of rural Pennsylvanians and to become aware of possible ways/methods of assisting citizens and business and industry to move into the 21st century.

I trust that my perspectives of librarianship, educatiom, information needs, business and industry, county government, and multi-county government in a rural setting, and politics will provide worthwhile input.
