My experience in this area:

Many years in small, underfunded PA public libraries. Many years of struggling to acquire and learn to use emerging technologies to better serve our patrons, many of whom have not had those technologies at home (tho that is just beginning to change). The librarian has almost been forced to become the "local expert".

What I hope to learn:

-How to apply successfully for what I am told will be limited funding of technology discounts -Share information with my colleagues in schools and libraries -Express my opinions and those of my staff and patrons
