A general overview of the E-rate has been provided in the form of a concise
18 page document available on the PA Universal Service Web Site:
	http://www.cas.psu.edu/docs/pde/usf/index.html

This guide contains an overview of the program, which services are
eligible/ineligible, what counties are rural/urban, what steps are involved
with the application process, and a list of online resources. This guide
has been reviewed by members of the Task Force and the PUC and is one of
the more accurate guides available. We soon hope to have an Adobe Acrobt
Version available (PDF format) and printed copies are available by
contacting the Department of Education at 717-787-5820. Printed copies
will also be available at the Link-to-Learn workshops.
