Link-to-Learn is sponsoring six workshops around the state which will be
covering the two Link-to-Learn grants as well as information pertaining to
how schools and libraries can secure the maximum discounts they are
eligible for under the E-rate program.  Dates and locations are:

October 6       Pittsburgh      Holiday Inn University Center
October 7       Erie            Gannon University - Old Main
October 10      Wilkes-Barre    Best Western East Mountain Inn
October 14      Philadelphia    Valley Forge Sheraton
October 16      Harrisburg      Dixon Center
October 17      Williamsport    Williamsport Sheraton

Workshops will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. A tentative agenda
is provided below.

There is no fee to register, but each participant must register 72 hours
prior to the date of the event. You may also register on line at
http://www.invest.iup.edu  For those without Internet access, a FAX Back
form is included with the grant applications, available on the
Link-to-Learn web site at http://www.state.pa.us

Folders will be provided for every particpant containing:
	* A Complete Guide to the E-rate
	* Frequently Asked Questions
	* Estimated discounts for schools and libraries
	* Technology planning requirements
	* Link-to-Learn grant applications
	* Additional sources of technology funding

opportunities that can help bring your school or library into the 21st
