How I heard about Network Democracy:

I happend to be looking for some information on African-American computer usage. I stumbled onto a related site and followed the path. Now I am here.

My experience in this area:

I have at least 16 years of computer usage starting with a Commodore 64, then Prodigy, Compuserve, IBC compatible, AOL, Internet Service Provider, and a now I want to teach Internet Education. My church will be providing computer literacy classes soon and I want to be involved. I have a fair amount of knowledge about the subject and I really would like to make it my full time job. So I need to know all that I can.

What I hope to learn:

I want to know if there are any standards or certifications to say who is qualified to teach Internet Education. If there are none now, and I have not been able to find any, I want to help develop a worldwide set of standards. In other words a teacher of Internet Education should be able to do these things...
