My experience in this area:

I am the Instructional Technology Specialist for my district. I have led numerous technology workshops for teachers. I am currently working on a Classroom Telecommunications Conference for local teachers. I have experience with internet access and applications to the curriculum. I have an interest in providing input to the discussion based on my experience with the teachers in my district. I am currently formulating a district technology plan which incorporates an AUP and networking components.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to be able to support my district's faculty and other professional colleagues with dialog based on information gleaned from this seminar. I hope to develop my own level of expertise on telecommunications matters and skills. I hope to learn how others view the educational uses of the internet. I wish to converse with colleagues who share my interests in developing sound, exciting opportunities on the internet.
