How I heard about Network Democracy:

I was contacted by our Deputy State Librarian, Susan McVey from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, Oklahoma City.

My experience in this area:

I work extensively with a number of other local agencies and non-profit organizations who are all attempting to provide Internet access for their customers. We have established a local coalition, have secured a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce for $80,000 to fund said network, and are attempting to move forward.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to keep current with actions necessary to move universal service forward, legislatively. I would also hope that there are steps that we can take locally to foster this service.
