How I heard about Network Democracy:

The supervisor of instructional technology at the Georgia State Department of Educational contacted me regarding the seminar and suggested that I register.

My experience in this area:

As director of the technology training center at First District Regional Educational Service Agency, I am involved in the planning and delivery of technology training to k-12 educators. Training activities at our center focus on planning for technology, curriculum integration strategies, operating systems, computer operations and maintenance, distance learning applications, software/hardware evaluation, selection, and implementation, networking issues, and telecommunications (including internet access and curriculum integration).

What I hope to learn:

I am most interested in the possible impact of the telecommunication movement toward meeting the online needs of students in rural areas of my state of Georgia. I would like to hear the comments and suggestions of others with similar needs for internet access.
