How I heard about Network Democracy:

I received an e-mail message from another TENET Master Trainer, Joyce Perkins.

My experience in this area:

I am a Texas educator, teaching junior high computer literacy. I am also a Master Trainer for TENET, the Texas telecommunication network for Texas educators.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn specifics about the telecommunications law and how we can affect it. It is my ardent hope that we can effectively push telecommunications in all schools for all children so that our youth will be prepared for a global network and working world.

Additional comments:

I am excited about this effort. Reed Hundt spoke to us by teleconference yesterday at the Tenet Master Trainers face-to-face meeting in Austin and he inspired and encouraged us. Connie Stout, who is the TENET director is and always has been a leader in educational technology--a pioneer, so-to-speak. She is an inspiration and she and her very able staff are the driving force behind the master trainers. We are led by the best.
