My experience in this area:

I have worked in school libraries in Alaska for the past 12 years. I am very interested in seeing equal access to information become a reality to rural or "bush"communities.

What I hope to learn:

I have not participated in this type of seminar before, but I have the time and interest at this time to help in this discussion. I hope to learn more about the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and how it can help libraries better serve the information needs of the communities they serve.
