My experience in this area:

I am a librarian, developing online information systems, and a member of the board of Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility. I am writing a book for the American Library Association on policy issues relating to libraries on the Information Highway.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to find out what kinds of definitions of Universal Access people are assuming. We seem to use this term often without really saying what we mean by it.

Additional comments:

It would be nice to be able to register without being added to the public list of registrants. There may be some people who are kept from the discussion because they don't want their personal information to be available on the Web. An option of "list/don't list" might be sufficient.
