My experience in this area:

I'm a veteran Internet using educator, who has worked with issues of lifelong learning preK-999, worked with many leaders in educational networking while building the CoSN gopher, and currently direct the Online Internet Institute, a national confederation of local and regional efforts to help teachers find the professional development they need to use technology to enhance learning.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn how collaboration through technology can enable people to tackle a set of complex societal issues, and contribute their individual insights toward the end of an informed and helpful set of regulations, in order to provide effective and equitable opportunities for all our nation's learners.
