How I heard about Network Democracy:

Professional organization plus brochure mailed to the Department.

My experience in this area:

Having 13 years of experience in K-12 (mix) libraries and being involved in technology planning and implementation will allow me to speak for the practioner in the field. I have recently joined a governmental education agency which has a little different focus but in the end all is focused on "what is best for our kids".

What I hope to learn:

1. Obtain knowledge of Universal Service. 2. Become more knowledgable about the Telecommunications act. 3. Share my experiences to help others see the need for technology / telecommunications in schools and libraries.
