How I heard about Network Democracy:

Local public relations manager for BellSouth on Library's Advisory Board and knows of my interest in this topic. Made me aware of online seminar.

My experience in this area:

Currently serve as President, Alabama Library Association; established a new Association Task Force on Technology after taking office in April 1996 to advocate and assist in development of a statewide electronic information network. Have served as Library Director for over 12 years, automating and/or upgrading computerization at each library where I have served. Professional experiences in providing quality services to the public coupled with knowledge of technology and its uses should prove beneficial to the discussion.

What I hope to learn:

Hope to learn more concerning telecommunications issues to become better advocate for universal service and information equity within Alabama.
