My experience in this area:

As an educator for over 10 years I have utilized email with teachers and students in a variety of forms. We began using email in 1987 utilizing UUCP mail. I have presented at conferences on the use of email and have worked with local business to bring email to all students in the schools I have worked. The web has broadened this use and offers many potential benefits to the students and to the access of information between school, parents, and the school community in general.

What I hope to learn:

Additional ways that the web may be used with the school. I also hope I can offer insights and needs from a school administrator's perspective so that education may take full advantage of the wealth of resources available through the web and email.
