Extensive background in technology related curriculum and instruction as well as staff development (UW-Madison ABD) Current employment as information specialist

What I hope to learn:

Learn the 'ropes' of the developing telecommunications policy and keep abreast of the procedures related to writing grants and curriculum for telecom projects. Keep current in telecom issues so that my staff development offerings are current and accurate

Additional comments:

It is critical that 'grass roots' educators participate in the development of policy for telecom infrastructure. Too many issues like these are made without information from the end users Consequently, it takes too much time and confusion to bring schools 'on line'.
