My experience in this area:

I am currently a Masters Student at the Univ. of Tx. at Arlington where my thesis will focus on the impact of internet technology on comparative literature. Also, I work for an on-line travel service (www.travelweb.com) creating multimedia applications (such as Shockwave and Active X) as well as building HTML pages and writing PERL scripts. Ultimately, I would like to transfer the skill I've learned in the business world to academia, and create multimedia software applications for use in and out of the classroom.

What I hope to learn:

I am very interested in keeping up with this type of technology and all of the legislation and opportunities that come with it. in the hopes that I can persuade UTA to participate in new programs and/or grants.
