How I heard about Network Democracy:

I received an invitation via e-mail from Laurie Maak.

My experience in this area:

Our Consortium is a group of 7 community colleges and a state university; we also have a TIIAP grant and are working to provide equal internet and information access to rural persons. As project director, in June I attended a Benton Foundation seminar on this subject.

What I hope to learn:

Just how an on-line seminar works, for one thing....this will be my first. I would like to see how universal service can be equitably accomplished. I would like to keep up with trends in this field.
