How I heard about Network Democracy:

Information forwarded to me from my local Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.

My experience in this area:

I am a High School Librarian (grades 9-12) with 1100 students. We have a Windows NT Network of CD-ROMs for reference work and are now being wired for Internet access. I can share my experience of working with students of all abilities and my vision of how Internet access will enhance and change the way we access information.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn: how others are coping with the rapid development of the Internet; how training for school Library staff members and patrons is being done; what works and what does not work in terms of hardware/software and most importantly how together we can improve access in all Libraries for everyone.

I applaud this initiative and look forward to the discussion. I hope that I can contribute to making Cyberspace accessible to all who want to visit it.
