How I heard about Network Democracy:

I originally read about it in a message Bob Carlitz sent to a listserv.

My experience in this area:

As director of the Mid-Atlantic Telecommunications Alliance, funded by TIIAP/US Dept of Commerce, I am interested in issues related to connectivity and have been engaged in various online and face-to-face discussions. I view this seminar as a follow-up to the dialogue begun at the Up for Grabs workshop in June.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to come away with some concrete next steps that the individual can carry out. Right now, the individual simply doesn't know enough to do anything in response to please to speak up.
