I learned about the seminar through either the LM_Net Listserve or the Middle-L listserve.

My experience in this area:

I am beginning my 25th year as a school librarian in a small community and have a decent technology background. Our county has made a full committment to the School To Work Program and I feel this seminar will provide information as to how the library can be important in the program.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to become more aware of the Telecommunications Act and how it will address the needs of schools and libraries. I would like to gain knowledge of how other school libraries are using technology. If there is financial support available, I would like information concerning how our school can benefit.
