How I heard about Network Democracy:

I am the state technology contact from Arizona for the NEA. They notified all the state contacts about this seminar.

My experience in this area:

We are working with teachers at the State level to try to influence the rules in Arizona regarding Universal Access, as well as organizing teachers to respond to the FCC.

What I hope to learn:

How to frame the issues, how to speak the "language", and to get more in-depth exposure to the issues so that I can support the efforts of our teachers in this endeavor.
