My experience in this area:

I have been working in Minnesota and nationally to facilitate the installation and use of computing and communications technologies in K-12 schools since 1988. From Jan. 1994 to June 1995, I served as project manager of the statewide Internet for Minnesota Schools (InforMNs) project and am currently co-director of a US Dept. of Education funded project to develop a model professional development program for teachers to learn to use and integrate the Internet in their science and math classrooms.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn about the FCC procedures and how to effectively advocate on behalf of education for full participation in the developing information community.
