How I heard about Network Democracy:

Through the Department of Education, State of Iowa

My experience in this area:

We have a fiber optics network throughout the school and the state. We have open labs and have given free access to the public library. We are into our third year, have both DOS and MacIntosh platforms. We have our policies in place and have made many mistakes along the way. We have a progressive board, and a wind turbine with three years of data collected. Personally, I have worked in business as a systems analyst and in education as a teacher. I have background in main frames, DOS machines, the Internet, e-mail, newsgroups, graphics, systems design and Macintosh computers. Our school has an expert in ethernet networks, networking, etc.

What I hope to learn:

To share ideas, philosophies, and practical solutions to a very complex but valuable tool for our students.
