My experience in this area:

I'm not sure. I am fairly new to the internet and am not exactly sure what is going on but I thought this sounded fairly interesting and a chance to get some experience communicating with others with a wide range of ideas. I primarily got interested in the eductional sites because I am an older parent of younger children. I am in my mid-fifties and my youngest is 8 and will be in third grade and I have difficulty communicating with the parents of his friends as we have nothing else in common and they seem to be more interested in other things rather than their childrens eduction.

What I hope to learn:

How our schools can more effectively use the resourses we have to get the most from our computer education component.
