My experience in this area:

I have been an Internet user (mainly for scientific use) for many years. I have more than ten years of teaching experience at the secondary and post-secondary levels. Recently, I have been appointed the Technology Coordinator for an independent K-12 school in Lexington, Kentucky. In that position I will be helping to develop Internet resources as research tools for the school library.

What I hope to learn:

I hope to learn more about the resources available on the Internet for people seeking to use the service as a research tool. I hope to become more acquainted with current issues pertaining to the structure and use of the Internet so that I can be better able to educate students and their parents regarding these issues.
