My experience in this area:

I work with librarians from all types of sizes of libraries in Tennesee and am familiar with their needs and concerns. I am currently responsible for designing and implementing an online statewide public library network utilizing Internet resources.

What I hope to learn:

I am very concerned about ensuring open access to information, particularly for residents of small, rural (and often poor) cities and counties. I want to be an effective advocate for open access and to do that I need to know as much as possible about the political and economic environment in which decisions impacting Internet access are made.
