My experience in this area:

I am the technology coordinator for the Lawton Public School District which is in the process of establishing direct internet connection through networking and dial ups. Funding is a constant problem and understanding this legislation will help us. Our exploration and initial develoopment have provided us with information and experience which might be helpful for the group.

What I hope to learn:

We hope to collaborate with others from across the country to help all understand the legislation and/or have some impact on the rule-making process being developed to implement the program.

Additional comments:

I have participated in other online conferences in the past and find the format to be very useable because we can deal with, and respond to, the information in an asyncronous form.
