On Friday the FCC posted copies of the disks submitted in response
their request for further comments on universal service issues. You
can find hypertext versions of these further comments on the Universal
Service/Network Democracy Web site. See the repository index,
	http://www.info-ren.org/repository-index.html
for a list of available files. Those files which were not available
in electronic form will be scanned during the next week and made
available on-line when the scanning is complete.

The request for further comments can be found among the "Useful Documents"
cited on the Web site,
	http://www.info-ren.org/projects/universal-service/documents.html
It offers a concise list of major questions relating to schools
and libraries (questions 6 - 25).

One other addition to the Web site are excerpts from the FCC's Notice
of Proposed Rule Making. I have extracted those paragraphs which
deal which schools and libraries and made them available in a separate
file for faster downloading. You can find them on the documents page
cited above.
